Touted to be a mystery-thriller offering an edge-of-the-seat experience to the audience, Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayulu was set to be a sure-shot entertainer going by the teaser and trailer cuts. The movie features Nara Rohit and Sudheer Babu who majorly dwell on impressive characters and content-driven movies. Is the movie a good bet for the weekend?

The movie runs with 3 parallel plots which will be investigated by different special investigating officers. The core plot will be of a missing plane which is hijacked by the hijackers carrying the Indian cricket team and certain celebrities. They demand the killing of the top 300 criminals in exchange of the release of the hijacked victims.

Plot 2 deals with a series of child abductions in the Hyderabad city, which run as a major mafia, whilst the 3rd plot shows a young boy lodging a complaint about his missing home.

Deepak Reddy (Nara Rohit) & Neelima (Shriya Saran) get on to the task of the hijacked plane, while SI Vinay (Sudheer Babu) is assigned with the missing home's case.

Will Deepak and Neelima be successful in reaching an amicable solution between the hijackers and the government? Will Vinay be able to crack the missing home's case? What is the relevance between these three plots? All these form the rest of the story.

The crime mystery movie was supposed to be a nail-biter one with lots of tensed moments considering the storyline and the sub-plots. It could have been a real tiger during the time of writing. However, translation of the same into celluloid seems to have gone terribly wrong. The airplane episode looks very artificial and unbelievable. It doesn't qualify for a serious thriller movie and so does the missing home episode.

The making and the production values are sub-standard as many sequences such as the missing plane and news bytes are reused from YouTube, which don't invoke a greater interest amongst the audience.

A lot of bloodshed, violence and illogical sequences have resulted in a terrible outcome as an overall package.

Rohit and Sudheer come with a good reputation of choosing powerful scripts ensuring good return on investment for the audience. However, both these young actors would be happy to forget their associations with this movie. The production values are bad, cinematography is mediocre, writing is pathetic and the other technical aspects are poor. Lesser you say and the better it is about the direction.

There are literally no positive aspects in Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayulu and all you find is the downside. Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayulu is a disengaging, poor and a terribly made movie.
