Mera Pind
Punjabi film Mera Pind was the first choice of moviegoers in U.K. and America. The film has fared well in U.K., but is excellent in U.S... Hijack has recorded dismal collections in its opening weekend in U.K... Rock On!! has shown no signs of improvement, despite appreciation... Singh Is Kinng continues its one-man marathon in the international markets, breaking records and setting benchmarks as never seen before. This weekend produced some truly historic results.

In Canada, where Studio 18 gave Singh Is Kinng the widest release ever [27 prints], Singh Is Kinng has amassed $ 8,67,203, making it the highest grosser of all time in the history of Bollywood in Canada. The gala presentation of the film at the Toronto International Film Festival in the weekend gone by will only help in sustaining its historic run in Canada.

In U.K., Singh Is Kinng has crossed Om Shanti Om, the biggest hit of 2007. The other films it has beaten include the Aamir Khan starrer Fanaa and Hrithik Roshan starrer Dhoom 2. Singh Is Kinng is now counted among the Top 10 U.K. grossers of all time.
