Sarkar Raj starts slow and picks up

The much awaited Sarkar Raj didn't open to a thunderous response, but the reports are encouraging and the business picked up during evening shows and as the weekend progressed. The opening ranged from 50% to 60% at places, although the opening was lower at single screens [30% to 40%]. However, Mumbai city single screens were better. By evening, the multiplexes were running to packed houses. The opening was partly affected due to heavy rains in some parts of the country.

Aamir, expectedly, had a slow start, but the word of mouth is tremendous and it should also show an upward trend. Humsey Hai Jahaan has started on a dull note.
