A
string
of
low-cost
films
opened
this
Friday,
but
none
could
gather
a
face-saving
opening.
A
tiny
section
of
the
industry
was
hopeful
that
Priyadarshan's
Bumm
Bumm
Bole,
starring
Darsheel
Safary
after
Taare
Zameen
Par,
would
at
least
manage
a
decent
start,
but
the
numbers
were
extremely
disappointing.
A
few
felt
that
Kushti
might
open
well
at
single
screens
of
select
circuits,
but
the
numbers
of
this
film
were
also
dull.
All
eyes
are
on
Kites,
the
third
film
in
a
row
(Housefull,
Badmaash
Company),
to
lure
the
audiences
back
to
theatres.
