Endhiran badly affects Anjaana Anjaani

Endhiran – The Robot (Tamil) and Robo (Telugu) dominated the box office. The Rajinikanth starrer has fetched a humungous start overall. Anjaana Anjaani has fared well, but was clearly affected by Endhiran/Robo wave.

U.K. BOX-OFFICE

* Endhiran – The Robot (Tamil) has debuted at No. 14 position. In its opening weekend, the film has collected £ 2,77,918 (approx. Rs. 1.96 crores) on 43 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 6,463. Incl. Thursday previews. Note:- Some locations figures unreceived.

* Anjaana Anjaani has debuted at No. 15 position. In its opening weekend, the film has collected £ 1,81,428 (approx. Rs. 1.28 crores) on 54 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 3,360.

* The Robot (Hindi) has debuted at No. 21 position. In its opening weekend, the film has collected £ 61,153 (approx. Rs. 43.17 lacs) on 42 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 1,456.

* Dabangg (Last weekend: No. 21, this weekend: No. 35): In its fourth weekend, the film has collected £ 16,585 on 22 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 754. Total: £ 7,64,421 (approx. Rs. 5.40 crores).

* Peepli Live (last weekend: No. 24, this weekend: No. 42): In its second weekend, the film has collected £ 11,908 on 18 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 662. Total: £ 75,936 (approx. Rs. 53.61 lacs).

* We Are Family (last weekend: No. 25, this weekend: No. 46): In its fifth weekend, the film has collected £ 8,096 on 18 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 450. Total: £ 7,03,923 (approx. Rs. 4.97 crores).

* Ik Kudi Punjab Di (last weekend: No. 49, this weekend: No. 58): In its third weekend, the film has collected £ 2,913 on 4 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 728. Total: £ 46,596 (approx. Rs. 32.90 lacs).

U.S.A. BOX-OFFICE

* Endhiran – The Robot (Tamil) has debuted at No. 12 position. In its opening weekend, the film has collected $ 15,20,108 (approx. Rs. 6.81 crores) on 64 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 23,752.

* Anjaana Anjaani has debuted at No. 16 position. In its opening weekend, the film has collected $ 5,17,608 (approx. Rs. 2.32 crores) on 91 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 5,688.

* Robo (Telugu) has debuted at No. 17 position. In its opening weekend, the film has collected $ 4,81,680 (approx. Rs. 2.16 crores) on 36 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 13,380.

* The Robot (Hindi) has debuted at No. 34 position. In its opening weekend, the film has collected $ 1,64,390 (approx. Rs. 73.58 lacs) on 39 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 4,215.
