Prince fails at overseas box office

Prince has had an extremely disappointing opening weekend in the two major markets - U.K. and U.S.A. Released extensively in these two markets, the film didn't fetch the desired opening numbers.

Weekend: April 9 - 11, 2010.

U.K. BOX-OFFICE
* Prince has debuted at No. 15 position. In its opening weekend, the film has collected £ 68,277 (approx. Rs. 46.82 lacs) on 45 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 1,517.

* Sadiyaan (last weekend: No. 27, this weekend: No. 31): In its second weekend, the film has collected £ 7,231 on 8 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 904. Total: £ 59,143 (approx. Rs. 40.56 lacs).

* Paiyaa (last weekend: No. 29, this weekend: No. 38): In its second weekend, the film has collected £ 4,051 on 4 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 1,013. Total: £ 37,936 (approx. Rs. 26.03 lacs).

* Hum Tum Aur Ghost (last weekend: No. 30, this weekend: No. 39): In its third weekend, the film has collected £ 3,914 on 6 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 652. Total: £ 86,997 (approx. Rs. 59.68 lacs).

* My Name Is Khan (last weekend: No. 43, this weekend: No. 51): In its ninth weekend, the film has collected £ 1,596 on 4 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 399. Total: £ 26,21,852 [approx. Rs. 17.98 crores].

* Angadi Theru (last weekend: No. --, this weekend: No. 72): In its third weekend, the film has collected £ 907 on 4 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 227. Total: £ 11,918 (approx. Rs. 8.17 lacs).
