Bollywood movie Desi Boyz, which stars Akshay Kumar, John
Abraham, Deepika Padukone and Chitrangada Singh in the leads, was
expected to get a thunderous opening at the collection centres. But
the comedy drama has opened to a mix response at the Box Office on
the first day.
Desi Boyz is a mega-budget film and was released in
nearly 2,200 screens across India, which is one of the biggest
releases. The movie was expected to debut with its occupancy
ranging between 70% and 80% on the opening day. But its response
was unexpected one.
The response for the movie varies in different parts of the
country. Desi Boyz registered 30% to 40% occupancy at some
places, while in collection centres it occupancy ranged between 75%
