The film Force, which has received mixed to positive reviews from critics, debuted with Rs 5 crores on Friday (30th September). Its collection went down by 5% on Saturday and it earned Rs 4.75 crores. But it got huge response from the viewers on Sunday and grossed Rs 6.25 crores. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh says, “However, the business is quite good in view of the fact that the number of screens and shows were limited."
However, this week's four other releases have utterly failed at the Box Office in the opening weekend. Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster has managed to collect Rs 3.75 crores net, while Hum Tum Shabana grossed Rs 1.20 crores net in its first weekend. Previous releases like Mausam, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Bodyguard also fell sharply in the collection centres.
Bollywood movie Force has done a fare business at the Box Office in the first weekend. According to reports, John Abraham and Genelia D'Souza starrer film has collected approximately Rs 16 crore net in its opening weekend. This happens to be the biggest opener for John Abraham.
