This
week
saw
two
new
releases,
Vikram
Bhatt's
Mahaakshay
Chakraborty
starrer
horror
flick,
Haunted
3D
and
Y-Films
(YRF)'s
Luv
Ka
The
End.
It
was
evident
before
the
release
that
Bhatt's
horror
flick
will
dominate
Y-Films'
love
story,
but
this
turned
out
to
be
a
totally
one
sided
story.
While
the
collections
of
Haunted
3D
was
average
in
the
2D
versions
occupying
20
to
45
percent
of
the
seats,
it
was
the
3D
version
that
totally
stole
the
show.
The
occupancy
for
Haunted
3D
varies
from
60-70
to
even
100
percent
at
some
screens.
The
actors
of
the
film,
Mahaakshay
and
Twinkle
Bajpai,
garnered
a
lot
of
appreciation
from
the
movie
buffs.
Y-Films'
Luv
Ka
The
End
with
a
totally
new
cast
and
crew
saw
an
ordinary
collection
(5-20
percent).
The
feedback
from
the
commoners
was
even
quite
mild
as
compared
to
Haunted.
However,
what
took
away
the
icing
of
the
cake
was
the
Hollywood
film
Fast
Five.
The
Hollywood
release
overtook
its
Hindi
competitors
at
the
Box
Office
by
embarking
70%
opening
on
an
average
across
India
only
on
Friday.
Fast
Five
did
well
at
the
multiplexes
as
well
as
at
the
single
screens
too.
