Mausam gets good opening at Box Office on first day

This weekend witnessed the release of two much-anticipated Bollywood movies. Out of them, Pankaj Kapoor's debut directorial venture Mausam might have received mixed reviews from the critics, but the film has got a good opening at the Box Office. Whereas, this weeks another release Speedy Singhs has received a weak response at collection centres.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Shahid-Sonam Kapoor starrer Mausam has fetched a heartening start at multiplexes of several centres. In the places like Delhi, Indore, Bhopal, Jaipur and Punjab, it has reported the best opening, while at several other places, the opening ranged from ordinary to dull.

Taran says that pre-release promotion of Mausam is the reason behind its good opening and popularity of its music is another plus point for it. But its reviews might affect its collection in coming days as the second half of the movie is attracting severe criticism, while the first half has been widely appreciated.
