Ragini MMS gets average opening

Controversy-ridden Ragini MMS received mixed reviews from the film critics, but the hype around it a few weeks leading up to its release, seems to have helped its opening at the box office. It witnessed slow opening, but picked up in the afternoon and evening shows.

Ragini MMS witnessed only 20-25% box office collection in the morning but increased to 40-45% in the afternoon. The evening shows on the opening day were expected to touch 65-75%. The film would earn good if it continues to do well in the weekend.

Ragini MMS is produced by television soap queen Ekta Kapoor and directed by Pawan Kripalani. It features Raj Kumar Yadav and Kainaz Motivala in the lead roles and was issued an 'A" certificate by the Censor Board for its raunchy scenes.
