Ranbir Kapoor's latest Bollywood movie Rockstar, which was
released on 11th November, has got a solid opening at the Box
Office in India. The musical romantic film has earned Rs 11 crores
in the collection centres in the domestic market on the first day
of its release.
Rockstar, which has been made with a budget of Rs 60
crores, was released with 2,500 screens. The film had a grand
beginning at multiplexes, where it registered 80% to 100%
occupancy. But it received poor response at single screens with its
occupancy ranging between 40% and 50% on the opening day.
However, Rockstar has received mixed reviews from the
film critics. The onscreen chemistry between Ranbir Kapoor and
Nargis Fakhri has been well appreciated by both critics and the
viewers. The romantic movie is successful in impressing the youth.
Since Ranbir has done lot of promotional activities for it in
several colleges across the country, more number of students are
expected to invade the theatres in the coming days.
