Filmmaker
Anurag
Kashyap's
latest
movie
That
Girl
In
Yellow
Boots
has
made
a
slow
beginning
at
the
Box
Office.
Despite
getting
rave
reviews
from
critics,
the
film
has
failed
to
cash
in
on
the
Eid
and
Ganesh
festival
season.
According
to
reports,
it
has
just
achieved
ten
percent
of
what
the
makers
had
expected
from
it.
According
to
reports,
Anurag
Kashyap
wanted
minimum
of
6,40,000
people
to
purchase
tickets
for
his
film
That
Girl
In
Yellow
Boots,
but
it
has
just
achieved
ten
percent
of
it.
Trade
analyst
opine
that
the
current
figures
show
that
it
is
going
to
be
difficult
for
the
producers
to
reach
their
mark.
Trade
sources
say
that
the
movie
has
barely
managed
a
20
per
cent
opening
on
Friday,
but
it
dipped
further
on
the
following
days.
That
Girl
In
Yellow
Boots
is
being
screened
in
37
cinema
halls
across
Mumbai
and
on
an
average,
less
than
50
people
are
said
to
be
watching
the
film
in
one
screening.
According
to
these
figures,
the
number
of
people
who
have
seen
the
film
per
day,
will
not
be
more
than
25000.
But
producers
Viacom
18
claim
that
over
75,000
people
in
Mumbai
have
watched
the
film.
However,
there
are
a
few
important
reasons
behind
the
poor
collection
of
That
Girl
In
Yellow
Boots.
There
were
three
other
releases
with
this
movie
and
Salman
Khan's
Bodyguard,
which
has
been
much-hyped
movie,
is
enjoying
the
share
of
others
at
the
Box
Office.
Secondly,
it
is
running
in
very
few
screens.
Another
important
aspect
is
that
its
promotion
is
nowhere
near
to
Bodyguard.
