Karan Johar's latest movie Agneepath has embarked on a flying start and shattered several old records at the Indian Box Office. Interestingly, Hrithik Roshan-Priyanka Chopra starrer has got good opening at the international collection centres too. But the movie has failed to beat the records of Ra.One and Bodyguard in the first weekend.
With its first weekend collection Rs 32.75 crore, Shahrukh Khan starrer Ra.One has topped the list of the biggest openers in international Box Office, while Bodyguard is in the second spot with gross Rs 24 crore in the five day weekend. Now, Agneepath has collected Rs 10.46 crore in four day weekend.
Agneepath has earned Rs 6.02 crores ($12,13,096) from 132 screens at the USA Box Office in four-day weekend. Ra.One and Bodyguard have collected Rs 8.17 crore ($16,54,023) and 6.73 ($13,61,790) at the American business centres, respectively. The movie has grossed Rs 2.70 (£3,46,460) at the UK Box Office, while Ra.One and Bodyguard raked in Rs 7.08 crore (£9,08,768) and Rs 6.54 crore (£8,39,833), respectively.
Karan Malhotra directed movie has collected Rs 1.46 crores at the Australia Box Office, while Ra.One and Bodyguard grossed Rs 1.77 crore (A$3,37,545) and Rs 1.30 crore (A$2,47,524), respectively.
Agneepath has has collected Rs 17.86 lacs (NZ$43,914) from 8 screens at New Zealand Box Office and Rs 11.03 lacs (FJD 39,206) from 2 screens at Fiji Box Office. With this, the movie has landed in the third spot in both countries too. Now, it should be seen that how it will perform at the collection centres in coming days.
