Whereas, Barfi also witnessed a dip in its business on the fourth day, but it was comparatively far better than Rockstar. Barfi continued to do well at the Box Office on following days. The movie cashed in on Ganesh Chathurthi holiday on Wednesday, but suffered big set back on Thursday due to Bharath Bandh.
Rockstar had collected Rs 50 crore at the desi Box Office in the first week. Whereas, Barfi smashed this record in just six days. Rockstar had received mixed reviews from film critics and a good word of mouth from viewers. Whereas, Barfi got rave reviews from critics and a positive word of mouth from film goers. Barfi has a big threat from Kareena Kapoor's Heroine, which has hit the theatres today. It should be seen whether Heroine would allow Barfi to rock the viewers in the second week or not.
