Bol Bachchan gets superb opening at overseas Box Office

Director Rohit Shetty's latest movie Bol Bachchan has received superb response at the international collection centres. The Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan starrer has raked in approximately Rs 11.5 crores nett ($2.06 million) at the overseas Box Office in the first weekend. The film has become one of the biggest openers in foreign market in recent times.

Bol Bachchan has registered a very good opening at the USA Box Office. The film has collected Rs 3.13 crores ($5,61,996) from 98 screens in the first weekend. But its collection figures seemed to be lower as compared to the Telugu movie Eega, which has raked Rs 3.64 crores from 39 screens in the country in the three days.

The second highest collection of Bol Bachchan from a foreign country is coming from the UAE Box Office, where the film has grossed Rs 2.97 crores (AED 19,47,528) in its opening weekend. The movie has collected Rs 1.39 crores (£1,61,047) from 50 screens at the UK Box Office in the first weekend.

The comedy film has raked in Rs 92.48 lacs (A$ 1,62,431) from 22 screens in Australia Box Office. It has grossed Rs 68.38 lacs ($1,22,000) from the collection centres in Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait (GCC BOX-OFFICE). It has collected Rs 27.81 lacs (NZ$ 62,488) and Rs 11.29 lacs (FJD 36,702) in New Zealand and Fiji, respectively.

However, Bol Bachchan has also got an excellent opening at the domestic Box Office, where the movie has raked in Rs 43.10 crores nett in the first weekend. The movie has grossed a total of Rs 54.6 crores nett at the worldwide Box Office. It should be seen whether the movie surpass the 100 crore mark in the first week of its release.
