Bollywood
movie
Cocktail
has
received
a
superb
response
at
the
Box
Office
in
India
in
the
first
weekend.
Saif
Ali
Khan
and
Deepika
Padukone
starrer
movie
has
raked
in
Rs
36
crores
nett
at
the
collection
centres
in

days.
The
romantic
comedy
has
set
a
new
record
at
the
Box
Office
by
breaking
the
first
weekend
records
of
Kareen
Kapoor's
Ek
Main
Aur
Ekk
Tu
and
Shahid
Kapoor's
Teri
Meri
Kahaani,
which
were
released
earlier
this
year.
Cocktail
was
released
in
maximum
number
of
multiplexes,
while
it
hit
limited
number
of
single
screens.
The
movie
registered
an
earth
shattering
opening
with
its
occupancy
ranging
between
90%
and
100%
at
multiplexes.
It
also
received
good
response
at
single
screens.
It
collected
Rs
11
crores

nett
at
the
domestic
Box

Major
portion
of
its

has
come

up.
So

analyst
felt
that
these
aspects
would
give
the
movie
a
big
jump
at
the
Box
Office
on
Saturday.
But
the
business
of
Cocktail
was
improved
by
just
10%.
The
film
grossed
Rs
12
crores
plus
on
the
second

Cocktail
did
not
have
big
growth

early
trends,
the
movie

added
Rs
13
crores
nett

its
first
weekend
total
Rs
39
crores
nett.
With
this,
the
film
has
failed
to
beat
the
opening
weekend
record
of
last
week's
release
Bol
Bachchan,
which
had
raked
in
Rs
43.10
