response
at
the
USA
Box
Office.
The
action
graphical
thriller
has
topped
the
collection
chart
in
the
country
by
grossing
approximately
Rs
2
crores
nett
in
three
days.
With
this,
the
movie
has
beaten
Ajay
Devgn
and
Abhishek
Bachchan
starrer
Bollywood
film
Bol
Bachchan
in
the
country.
Sudeep-Samantha
starrer
Eega,
which
was
released
in
the
country
on
Thursday,
July
5,
opened
to
a
good
response
in
the
morning
shows
on
Thursday,
but
its
business
went
up
in
the
later
shows.
The
movie
collected
Rs
23.51
lakhs
($
42,409)
on
the
first
day
of
its
release
in
the
country.
On
the
second
day,
Its
collection
improved
by
three
times
of
its
first
collection.
It
raked
in
Rs
86.72
lakhs
($
156,408)
on
Friday.
But
its
business
went
down
by
6%
to
7%
on
Saturday
with
the
film
adding
Rs
79.99
lakhs
($
144,260)
to
its
three
days
total
Rs
1.90
crore
($
343,077).
It
should
be
said
here
that
these
figures
include
only
reported
screens
and
many
screens
are
yet
to
report.
According
to
trade
experts,
its
actual
figures
will
be
more
than
Rs
2
crores
in
the
first
three
days.
With
this,
Eega
has
shattered
all
the
previous
records
of
Tollywood
at
the
USA
Box
Office
and
set
its
own
new
record.
On
the
other
hand,
Hindi
movie
BolBachchan,
which
was
released
on
32
screens
in
USA
on
Friday,
also
received
a
very
good
response.
The
movie
collected
Rs
66.89
lakhs
($
120,643)
on
the
first
day
of
its
release
at
the
USA
Box
Office.
This
comedy
entertainer
added
another
Rs
77.96
($
140,600)
to
its
two
days
total
collection
Rs
1.44
crore
($
261,243).
Trade
analysts
says
that
its
total
collection
could
be
higher
than
the
reported
figures
here.
