English Vinglish, OMG Oh My God still rocking at Box Office

OMG Oh My God and English Vinglish and have continued to rock the viewers in this week. They have overtaken new releases Bhoot Returns, Makkhi, Chittagong, Login and In The Name Of Tai. These films have graced the top and second positions respectively at the Box Office in India this weekend.

OMG Oh My God, which had topped the collection chart in the second week, has continued to keep the bells ringing at the Box Office in the third week too. The movie has added Rs 8.5 crores nett in the third weekend to its 17 day total Rs 68.5 crores nett. The breakup of its third weekend is Rs 2 cr on Fri, Rs 2.90 cr on Sat and Rs 3.6 cr on Sun.

Interestingly, English Vinglish, which landed in the second spot in the first week of its release, has remained in the same position in the second weekend too. The Sridevi's comeback movie has done wonderful business in multiplexes. It has collected Rs 8 crores at the domestic Box Office taking its 10 days total to Rs 29 crores nett. The breakup of its second weekend is Rs 1.75 cr on Fri, Rs 2.75 cr on Sat and Rs 3.5 cr on Sun.

However, Rani Mukherjee's comeback movie Aiyyaa has landed in the third spot in the Box Office chart. This much-hyped movie was expected to fetch big numbers in its opening weekend. But it has just collected approximately Rs 5 crores nett in the first weekend. The rest of the new releases have failed to cross even Rs 5 crore mark at the domestic Box Office.
