Gangs of Wasseypur 2 scores Rs 3 cr at Box Office on its opening day!

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's latest release Gangs of Wasseypur 2 opened to a good response at the Box Office collections. GOW 2, which was released yesterday, August 8, has managed to collect Rs 3 crore at the collection centres on the first day. The film has already garnered good reviews from both the film critics and the audience, hence it is expected to score higher at the Box Office in the latter part of the day.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#GOW2 picked up during the course of the day, yesterday. Wednesday *early estimates* indicate 3 cr. May even cross 3 cr." Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Gangs of Wasseypur 2, features Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi and Richa Chadda. The film has been of much hype, especially after the success of GOW 1.

The last release Jism 2 had managed to beat GOW 2 on its first day collection at the Box Office. Sunny Leone, Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh starrer Jism 2 collected Rs 4.5 to 5.5 crores at the Box Office on the first day.
