Much-hyped movie OMG Oh My God starring Akshay Kumar
and Paresh Rawal in leads has topped the collection chart beating
another new release Kamaal Dhamaal
Malamaal (KDM) at the Box Office in India in the
first weekend. The latter film has landed in the third spot with
two week old movie Barfi occupying the second position.
OMG Oh My God opened to an average response with its
occupancy ranging between 30% and 40% on Friday. It raked in Rs
4.25 crores nett at the desi Box Office on the first day. Its
business witnessed a big leap on the following days with the movie
scoring Rs 6 crores on Saturday and Rs 7.25 crores on Sunday.
Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal starrer has collected a total of Rs
17.5 crores nett in the first weekend.
Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal opened to a very poor response
and collected Rs 1.25 crore at the desi Box Office on the first
day. Its business did not show any big leap on the following days.
It collected approximately Rs 1.65 crore on Saturday and Rs 2
crores on Sunday. It has raked in a total of Rs 4.9 crores nett at
the domestic collection centres in the first weekend. This medium

However, Heroine was expected to affect the collection
of OMG Oh My God and Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal, but
it failed to reach expectations. It has landed in the fourth spot
with its collection reaching Rs 4.5 crores in the second weekend.
However, Barfi surely took a toll on their business. It
raked in Rs 6.1 crore in the third weekend, thereby landing in the
second position in the collection chart.
