Oh My God has continued to rock the viewers in India in the second week too. The Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal starrer has done wonderful collection at the Box Office in India in the second weekend. It has just missed the top spot at the collection chart, which was occupied by new release English Vinglish with a very small margin of collection.
Trade experts had predicted that new releases English Vinglish and Kismet Love Paisa Dilli would send down the business of OMG Oh My God, which had raked in Rs 36.94 crores nett at the domestic Box Office. The collection of the Umesh Shukla directed movie went down by more than 50%, but its business was on par with new releases.
OMG Oh My God collected Rs 2.9 crores nett at the desi Box Office on its second Friday and its business was more than that of English Vinglish, which collected Rs 2.5 crores nett on its first day. Akshay-Paresh starrer film showed a big jump in its collection on Saturday and Sunday. The breakup of its second weekend is Rs 2.9 cr on Fri, Rs 4 cr+ on Sat and Rs 5.16 cr on Sun.
However, OMG Oh My God has added Rs 12.06 crores nett to its 10-day total Rs 49 crores nett. The movie has just missed to surpass Rs 50 crore mark at the domestic Box Office in the second weekend. Trade analysts feel that the movie would collect Rs 60 crores mark in the second week.
