Emraan Hashmi and Bipasha Basu starrer movie Raaz 3 has collected Rs 14.78 crores nett at the Box Office in India in the second week. The movie has surpassed Rs 70 crore mark in 14 days. It was expected to do well, but its business was severely affected by Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra's new release Barfi, which has collected Rs 58.6 crores nett in first week.
Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatts' latest production Raaz 3 had collected Rs 55.25 crores nett at the Box Office in the first week. But its collection dipped considerably in the second weekend. The business of the movie at multiplexes was hit by Barfi wave, but it remained steady at single screens across the country.
Raaz 3 collected Rs 2.25 crores on its second Friday. Its business improved on Saturday with its collection reaching Rs 2.80 crores. But the movie saw a big jump on Sunday with its collection crossing Rs 4 crores. Its collection once again started falling on weekdays with the movie collecting Rs 1.65 cr on Mon and Rs 1.54 cr on Tue. The film has added Rs 14.78 crore nett to its two week total Rs 70.07 crores nett.
However, collection of Raaz 3 is expected to slow down further as another most-anticipated movie Heroine starring Kareena Kapoor in the lead has hit the screens today (September 21). Trade experts say that Emraan-Bipasha-Esha might struggle to cross Rs 75 crore mark at the domestic market in the third weekend.
