Ranbir
Kapoor's
Barfi,
which
has
rocked
the
viewers
in
the
first
week,
has
been
still
keeping
the
bells
ringing
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
second
week.
This
romantic
comedy
starring
Priyanka
Chopra
and
Ileana
D'Cruz
in
leads,
is
giving
tough
time
to
Ranbir's
cousin
Kareena
Kapoor's
much-hyped
movie
Heroine,
which
has
hit
the
screens
across
the
country
this
Friday.
Barfi
has
received
a
superb
response
at
the
Box
Office
and
collected
Rs
58+
crores
nett
in
the
first
week.
Trade
analysts
had
predicted
that
new
release
Heroine
would
send
down
the
collection
of
Barfi
in
the
second
week.
But
Barfi
remained
as
the
first
choice
for
many
film
goers
and
that
is
due
to
the
negative
reviews
for
Madhur
Bhandarkar
directed
movie.
Barfi
has
continued
to
drive
audience
crazy
to
the
theatres.
Its
response
on
the
second
Friday
is
at
par
with
Madhur's
Heroine.
The
Ranbir-Priyanka-Ileana
starrer
has
added
Rs
4.1
crores
nett
to
its
11-day
total
Rs
62.7
crores
nett.
Whereas,
Kareena
Kapoor's
latest
film
has
collected
Rs
7.5
crore
nett
on
its
first
day
of
its
release.
However,
Barfi
has
a
positive
word
of
mouth,
which
has
kept
the
movie
still
alive
at
the
Box
Office.
But
Heroine,
which
has
bagged
negative
reviews
from
film
critics,
has
got
an
average
talk
from
viewers.
This
might
really
help
Barfi
to
take
forward
its
business
on
Saturday
and
Sunday.
Interestingly,
it
might
even
top
the
collection
chart
in
the
second
week
too.
