Akshay
Kumar's
latest
movie
Rowdy
Rathore,
which
features
Sonakshi
Sinha
alongside
him,
has
opened
to
a
massive
response
at
the
Box
Office.
The
film
is
expected
to
be
Akki's
biggest
opener.
If
we
are
to
go
by
the
early
trends,
it
will
rake
in
more
than
Rs
15
crores
at
the
collection
centres
across
the
world.
Rowdy
Rathore
has
registered
95%
to
100%
occupancy
at
single
screens,
which
is
in
par
with
big-ticket
films
like
Agneepath
and
Housefull
2
and
Bodyguard.
But
it
did
not
have
that
electrifying
start
at
the
multiplexes
across
the
country,
where
it
witnessed
just
55%
to
70%
occupancy.
Trade
analysts
feel
that
the
average
response
in
multiplexes
for
the
film
Rowdy
Rathore
was
due
to
the
problem
in
the
advance
booking
following
the
Bharat
Bandh
on
Thursday.
Another
reason
was
the
mass-friendly
appeal
of
the
movie,
which
usually
have
a
slow
start
at
multiplexes.
However,
Rowdy
Rathore
is
action
thriller,
which
is
a
remake
of
Blockbuster
Telugu
movie
Vikramarkudu.
Directed
by
Prabhu
Deva,
the
film
has
received
fare
reviews
from
the
film
critics,
who
have
rated
it
an
average
of
3
out
of
5.
The
movie
is
expected
to
join
the
club
of
hundred
crore
movies
of
this
year
like
Agneepath
and
Housefull
2.
