Akshay
Kumar's
recently
released
film
Rowdy
Rathore
has
once
again
topped
the
Box
Office
chart
beating
the
Emraan
Hashmi
and
Abhay
Deol's
new
movie
Shanghai
in
the
second
weekend.
The
Prabhu
Deva
directed
action
thriller
has
crossed
the
100
crore
mark
at
the
collection
centres
in
India.
Rowdy
Rathore,
which
had
collected
Rs
79.52
crores
nett
in
the
first
week,
continued
its
rocking
business
at
the
Box
Office
in
the
second
weekend
too.
The
movie
did
very
well
in
both
single
screens
and
multiplexes
and
added
another
whopping
amount
of
Rs
22
crores
nett
to
its
ten
days
total
collection
Rs
101.5
crores
nett.
The
breakup
of
its
second
weekend
collection
is
5.1
cr
on
Fri,
6.4
cr
on
Sat
and
10.5
cr
on
Sun.
Whereas
this
week's
new
release
Shanghai,
which
had
created
lots
of
curiosity
among
the
viewers,
opened
to
a
dismal
response
at
the
Box
Office
on
Friday.
But
the
film
showed
decent
growth
at
hi-end
multiplexes
on
Sat
and
Sun.
It
has
collected
approximately
Rs
12.10
crores
nett
in
its
first
weekend.
The
breakup
of
its
three
days
collection
is
3.35
cr
on
Fri,
4.25
cr
on
Sat,
4.5
cr
on
Sun.
However,
Shanghai
is
a
big
budget
movie,
which
has
been
produced
by
Ajay
Bijli,
Dibakar
Banerjee,
Sanjeev
K
Bijli
and
Priya
Sreedharan.
According
to
trade
analysts,
the
movie
has
already
recovered
its
production
cost
from
its
music,
satellite
and
distributions
rights.
But
its
overall
business
is
below
the
mark.
