Salman's Ek Tha Tiger gets grand opening at Box Office

Salman Khan's most anticipated movie Ek Tha Tiger, which has hit the screens across the globe today, has received an earth-shattering opening at the Box Office in India. Salmania is at its peak at the collection centres. Trade experts say that this Kabir Khan directed film is sure to set a new record at the Box Office with its first day collections.

The theatres across the country screening Ek Tha Tiger were overflowing with movie buffs within and outside in the morning shows. In many places, the theatre owners had to call the police to control the mob. Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#EkThaTiger hysteria at its peak! Rajasthan distributor tells me police from 3 cop stations had to be called at a multiplex in Jaipur."

Ek Tha Tiger has managed to drive unprecedented crowd outside both single screens and multiplexes across the country. The Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer has registered 100% occupancy in both single screens and multiplexes. The film had huge amount of advance ticket booking and remaining few tickets were sold out early in the morning.

Many fans of Salman Khan across the country had dreamt of watching the movie Ek Tha Tiger in first show on the first day. But several of them seemed to disappointed as many theatres were showing 'housefull board' hours before the morning show began. A few of them even tried to buy the black tickets, which cost them more than Rs 1,000.

However, trade analysts have already predicted that Ek Tha Tiger would collect Rs 27 to 30 crores nett on the first day of its release, thereby beating the record of the film Agneepath, which is holding the highest first day collection record at the Box Office. It should be seen how much Salman Khan's romantic action thriller would gross on the opening day.
