This week's new release Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi (SFKTNP) starring Boman Irani and Farah Khan in leads, has opened to a very poor response at the Indian Box Office. Its collection is lower than most of the low budget movies released earlier this year. One big reason for its low poor business is Ek Tha Tiger, which has continued to dominate and rock at the collection centres.
Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi, which garnered mixed reviews from film critics, had a dismal opening on Friday. The movie registered an average of 30% occupancy at both single screens and multiplexes. Boman-Farah starrer rom-com raked in approximately Rs 1.80 crore nett on the first day of its release in the country. Its opening collection is lower than that of Ferrari Ki Sawaari, which had grossed Rs 3.04 crores on the first day.
The business of Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi was expected to witness a big jump on Saturday and Sunday. But despite having positive word of mouth, the romantic comedy film failed to show any remarkable growth on the following days. It has approximately collected Rs 6 to 6.25 crores nett at the Box Office in India in the first weekend.
