Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi scores Rs 9.8 cr in week 1

Bollywood movie Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi (SFKTNP), which opened to an average response at the Box Office, has concluded the first week with a very poor numbers. The Boman Irani and Farah Khan starrer film has been affected by the Salman Khan's previous week's release Ek Tha Tiger at the collection centres across the country. It has landed in the second spot in the collection chart.

Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi received a very dismal opening with its occupancy ranging between 20% to 30% on its opening day at the Indian Box Office. The word of mouth expected to play magic for it at the ticket windows. But the movie could not witness a big jump in its business on Saturday and Sunday. It collected Rs 6.4 crore nett in the first weekend of its release.

The business of Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi witnessed a big fall from Rs 2.15 crores to Rs 1 crore on Monday and it continued to drop throughout the week. The film has grossed Rs 9.8 crores nett at the desi Box office in the first week of its release. The breakup of its collection is Rs 1.60 cr on Fri, Rs 2.15 cr on Sat, Rs 2.65 cr on Sun, Rs 1 cr on Mon, Rs 85 lakhs on Tue, Rs 80 lakhs on Wed and Rs 75 lakhs on Thur.

Bela Sehgal debut directorial venture, which had massive promotions, has not performed up to the expected mark. The first week collection of Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi appears to be very poor when compared to that of Ferrari Ki Sawaari, which had grossed Rs 20 crore in seven days. The movie is sure to suffer further at the Box Office as Akshay Kumar's Joker has hit the screens this weekend.
