Student of the Year starring newcomers like Siddharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in leads, has continued to keep the bells ringing at the overseas Box Office in the second weekend. The Karan Johar's latest production dominates the international collection chart beating the new releases like Chakravyuh and Ajab Gazabb Love, which have failed to impress viewers in foreign countries.
Student of the Year has once again topped the business chart at the UK Box Office in its second weekend. The film has collected £53,095 on 27 screens, taking its 10-day total to Rs 2.20 crores (£2,54,593). Whereas, new releases Chakravyuh and Ajab Gazabb Love have landed in second and third spot with their collection Rs 30.09 lakhs (£34,758) from 34 screens and Rs 11.97 lakhs (£13,828) from 12 screens, respectively, in the country in the first weekend.
Student of the Year had collected Rs 1.75 crores ($3,26,508) from 106 screens and its total stands at Rs 2.91 crores ($5,37,195) at the USA Box Office in its second weekend. Whereas, Chakravyuh and Ajab Gazabb Love have raked in Rs 60.11 lakhs ($1,11,247) from 73 screens and Rs 4.21 lakhs ($7,790) from 25 screens in the country in the first weekend.
Student of the Year is also leading the race at the Australia Box Office in its second weekend. The film has collected A$30,622 from 13 screens taking its 12-day total to Rs 68.73 lakhs (A$1,23,282). Chakravyuh has collected Rs 10.27 lakhs (A$18,418) from 6 screens in the country in its opening weekend. Whereas, Ajab Gazabb Love did not release in the country.
Student of the year has collected NZ$13,572 from 8 screens taking its 12-day total to Rs 25.73 lakhs (NZ$58,156) at the New Zealand Box Office. Whereas, Chakravyuh and Ajab Gazabb Love did not release in the country. But they had a good time in Fiji Box Office. Ajab Gazabb Love has collected Rs 2.13 lakhs (FJD 7,033) from 2 screens, while Chakravyuh raked in Rs 92,928 (FJD 3,074) from 2 screens in the country in their first weekend.
