Kapoor
starrer
action
film
Tezz
at
the
Box
Office
in
India
in
the
first
weekend.
The
multi-starrer
sci-fi
English
flick
has
raked
in
Rs
15
crore
at
the
collection
centres
in
the
country,
while
multi-starrer
Hindi
movie
has
grossed
Rs
11.25
crore
in
three
days.
The
Avengers
was
released
on
800-plus
screens,
in
3D,
IMAX
3D
and
2D
in
India
on
27th
April.
Besides
getting
rave
reviews
from
Indian
film
critics,
the
movie
also
opened
to
overwhelming
response
at
Box
Office
in
the
country.
Along
with
the
English
version,
the
movie
was
released
with
dubbed
versions
in
Hindi,
Tamil
and
Telugu
and
theatres
with
all
versions
were
running
housefull.
However,
The
Avengers
collected
Rs
4.01
crore
nett
on
the
first
day
of
its
release.
The
business
of
the
film
grew
up
by
6
to
23%
on
Saturday
and
Sunday
and
the
film
earned
Rs
4.67
crore
and
Rs
5.32
crore,
respectively.
The
movie
is
going
strong
on
the
weekdays
too
and
is
expected
to
set
a
new
record
at
the
India
Box
Office.
However,
UTV
Motion
Pictures,
which
is
distributing
the
film
in
India,
has
claimed
that
The
Avengers'
collection
is
the
third
biggest
Hollywood
weekend
earning
after
Avatar
(2009)
and
Mission
Impossible
IV:
Ghost
Protocol
(2011).
