Hindi
movie
Bhaag
Milkha
Bhaag
(BMB)
has
got
a
fantastic
reception
in
the
key
international
market.
The
Farhan
Akhtar
and
Sonam
Kapoor
starrer
biopic
started
on
a
lackluster
note,
but
has
grown
manifold
at
the
overseas
Box
Office
over
the
first
weekend.
It
has
topped
the
business
chart
in
all
foreign
countries,
wherever
it
is
screened.
But
it
has
failed
to
beat
the
weekend
record
of
Farhan's
previous
release
Zindagi
Na
Milegi
Dobara.
Bhaag
Milkha
Bhaag
has
done
superb
business
in
key
markets
like
USA
and
UEA,
where
it
has
topped
the
chart.
In
its
opening
weekend,
the
movie
has
collected
Rs
3.88
crores
($6,47,112)
from
139
screens
at
the
USA
Box
Office,
while
it
raked
in
Rs
2.53
crores
(AED
15,52,000)
at
the
UAE
Box
Office.
The
Farhan
Akhtar
and
Sonam
Kapoor
starrer
has
also
topped
the
business
chart
in
other
key
markets
like
UK,
Australia
and
Fiji.
Bhaag
Milkha
Bhaag
has
collected
Rs
80.62
lakhs
(£89,348)
from
56
screens
in
UK,
Rs
71.11
lakhs
(A$1,30,418)
from
16
screens
in
Australia
and
Rs
1.07
lakhs
(FJD
3,389)
from
one
screen
in
the
Fiji
Box
Office
in
the
first
weekend.
However,
Farhan's
last
outing
Zindagi
Na
Milegi
Dobara
starring
Hrithik
Roshan
and
Abhay
Deol
with
him,
had
raked
in
Rs
12
crores
nett
at
the
overseas
Box
Office
in
its
opening
weekend.
Whereas
his
latest
movie
has
collected
Rs
8.40
crores
nett
in
the
international
collection
centres.
The
performance
of
Bhaag
Milkha
Bhaag
is
much
bigger
and
better,
when
compared
to
the
budget,
star-cast
and
volume
of
release
of
his
last
outing.
It
shows
that
the
actor
is
successful
in
displaying
a
grand
show
single-handedly
in
the
international
arena.
