The film maintained the momentum all through the weekend with a strong word of mouth translating into superb collections.
The Farhan Akhtar and Sonam Kapoor starrer did exceptional business at the multiplexes in circuits like Delhi, UP, Punjab, Mumbai and Mysore. It also registered good amount of footfalls in circuits dominated by single screens. Bhaag Milkha Bhaag has collected approximately Rs 32.25 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in the first weekend. Its breakup is Rs 1.05 cr on Thu previews, Rs 8.50 cr on Fri, Rs 10.70 cr on Sat, Rs 12 cr on Sun.
But Bhaag Milkha Bhaag has failed to beat the opening weekend record of Farhan Akhtar's previous outing Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, which had raked in Rs 52.50 crore in three days.
