With
several
state
governments
giving
it
tax
exemption,
Bhaag
Milkha
Bhaag
(BMB)
has
enjoyed
a
very
good
amount
of
collection
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
third
week.
Although
four
new
movies
like
Bajatey
Raho,
Nasha,
Issaq
and
Luv
U
Soniyo
were
in
the
race,
the
Farhan
Akhtar
starrer
has
once
again
topped
the
domestic
collection
chart.
Bhaag
Milkha
Bhaag
had
collected
Rs
53.49
crores
nett
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
first
week.
The
movie
witnessed
50%
dip
in
the
second
week
with
its
collection
reaching
Rs
26.30
crores.
It
further
dipped
another
50%
in
the
third
week,
but
the
film
managed
to
collect
a
whopping
sum
due
to
the
tax
exemption
from
a
few
state
governments
like
Delhi,
Maharashtra,
MP,
Goa,
Haryana
and
UP.
Undeterred
by
new
release,
Bhaag
Milkha
Bhaag
continued
to
keep
the
cash
registers
ringing
at
the
ticket
counters
across
the
country.
The
Rakeysh
Omprakash
Mehra-directed
biopic
collected
Rs
12.21
crores
in
the
third
weekend
and
Rs
6.3
crores
on
the
weekdays.
In
the
third
week,
the
film
has
added
a
total
of
Rs
18.51
crores
to
its
21-day
domestic
total
Rs
98.3
crores
nett.
With
this,
Bhaag
Milkha
Bhaag
has
become
the
third
highest
grosser
Bollywood
movie
of
2013.
However,
trade
experts
had
predicted
that
the
movie
would
surpass
Rs
100
crore
mark
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
by
the
end
of
the
third
week.
But
the
movie
has
fallen
short
by
Rs
1.7
crore.
Now,
it
is
sure
that
it
will
score
these
number
on
its
fourth
Friday
and
join
Rs
100
crore
movie
club
on
its
22nd
day.
