Salman
Khan
and
Sonakshi
Sinha's
Hindi
movie
Dabangg
2
has
concluded
the
second
week
with
a
wonderful
collection
at
the
Indian
Box
Office.
The
romantic
action
film
has
once
again
topped
the
business
chart
in
the
country.
Its
second
week
business
is
much
better
than
that
of
Salman's
previous
release
Ek
Tha
Tiger.
But
it
has
failed
to
cross
Rs
150
crore
mark
at
the
domestic
collection
centres.
Ek
Tha
Tiger
starring
Salman
Khan
and
Katrina
Kaif
in
leads,
had
clashed
with
Shirin
Farhad
Ki
Toh
Nikal
Padi
at
the
desi
Box
Office
in
the
second
week
and
collected
Rs
31.84
crores
(Rs
21.74
crores
in
the
weekend
and
Rs
10.10
crores
on
weekdays),
taking
its
16-day
domestic
total
to
Rs
185.05
crores
nett.
Dabangg
2,
which
had
collected
Rs
106.78
crores
in
the
first
week,
did
not
have
any
competitor
in
the
second
week.
Even
then
the
Salman-Sonakshi
starrer
witnessed
almost
65%
dip
in
its
business
over
this
weekend.
And
its
second
weekend
business
was
almost
equal
to
that
of
Ek
Tha
Tiger.
But
due
to
New
Year
eve,
the
Arbaaz
Khan
directed
flick
did
well
on
the
weekdays
too.
At
the
domestic
Box
Office,
Dabangg
2
has
collected
Rs
21
crores
in
second
weekend
and
Rs
22
crores
on
weekdays.
In
the
second
week,
the
romantic
action
flick
has
added
Rs
43
crores
to
its
14-day
total
Rs
149.78
crores.
Its
break
up
is
Rs
5
cr
on
Fri,
Rs
7
cr
on
Sat,
Rs
9
cr
on
Sun,
Rs
4.5
cr
on
Mon,
Rs
7.5
cr
on
Tue,
Rs
Rs
5.5
cr
on
Wed
and
Rs
4.5
cr
on
Thu.
However,
today
five
Hindi
movies
like
Table
No
21,
Dehraadun
Diary,
Dekha
Jo
Pehli
Baar,
Meri
Shadi
Karao
and
Rajdhani
Express
are
hitting
the
screens
across
the
country.
Trade
experts
say
that
they
would
eat
away
the
share
of
Dabangg
2,
thereby
affecting
its
collection.
It
should
be
seen
how
Dabangg
2
will
perform
in
the
third
week.
