Fukrey (3 days) first weekend collection at Box Office

Mumbai: Teen Thay Bhai fame Mrighdeep Singh Lamba's next directorial venture Fukrey has been affected by Hollywood movie Man Of Steel and done an average business at the Indian Box Office in the first weekend. The film has landed in the second place, while the Hollywood movie topped the domestic collection chart.

Fukrey, which was carrying huge hype prior its release, opened to a poor response with its occupancy ranging between 15% and 20% in the morning and matinee shows on Friday. The movie picked up marginally in the evening and night shows. But its opening day collection was not up to the mark.

The movie starring Pulkit Samrat, Manjot Singh, Ali Fazal, Richa Chadda, Vishakha Singh and Priya Anand in leads, witnessed nearly 20% growth in its business on Saturday and it further went up by another 15% on Sunday. The film has collected Rs 9.72 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in the first weekend. Its breakup is Rs 2.62 cr on Fri, Rs 3.10 cr on Sat and Rs 4 cr on Sun.

However, Man Of Steel took a toll on the collection of Fukrey at the Indian Box Office in its opening weekend. Meanwhile, two-week-old release Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, which is still having a good time in the third week, has also partially affected the business of this new Hindi release.
