Gori Tere Pyaar Mein (GTPM), which released in 310 screens in the international market, has done good business at the UAE Box Office in its opening, but its collection is poor in other foreign countries like USA, UK, Australia and New Zealand. The Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer has landed in the second place, while the last week's release Ram Leela topped the business chart overseas.
The Karan Johan-produced movie has done fantastic business at the UAE Box Office and its first collection has reached Rs 2.55 crores (AED 1,502,000). Gori Tere Pyaar Mein has topped collection chart in the country, beating Ram Leela and Singh Saab The Great.
Gori Tere Pyaar Mein has collected Rs 1.32 crores ($ 211,000) from 112 in the USA, Rs 95.76 lakhs (£ 94,479) from 51 screens in the UK, Rs 28.62 lakhs (A$ 50,007) 17 screens in Australia and Rs 2.04 lakhs (NZ$ 3,970) from 2 screens at the New Zealand Box Office in the first weekend.
In the first weekend, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein has collected Rs 6.12 crores ($ 980,000) from 310 screens at the overseas Box Office. Its overall performance is much better than another new release Singh Saab The Great, which has collected approximately Rs 2.50 crores ($ 400,000) from 150 screens.
