Grand Masti First Weekend Collection At Overseas Box Office

Grand Masti, which has had a great time in the domestic market, has also done wonderful business at the Overseas Box Office in the first weekend. The Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani and Riteish Deshmukh starrer has topped the collection chart in key foreign markets like USA and UK

The Indra Kumar-directed film did not have any new competitor in the UK, while old releases like Shuddh Desi Romance, Chennai Express and Satyagraha were running in limited screens there. So Grand Masti has collected Rs 80.14 lakhs (£80,037) in 33 screens at the UK Box Office in the first weekend. Considering its small screen count, it is great collection for the movie.

Grand Masti has also done superb business in America, where it did not face any new Hindi movie. It has collected Rs 1.41 crores ($2,23,222) from 64 screens at the USA Box Office in the first weekend. The film also had a grand release in few other foreign market, where it has raked in another Rs 1.11 crore nett in its opening weekend.

The Vivek-Aftab-Riteish starrer has raked in total of Rs 3.32 crores ($5,25,000) at the international Box Office in the first week. Grand Masti did not release in UAE. But trade experts feel that its release in this country could have taken its overseas collection beyond Rs 5 crores.
