The
much-hyped
Hindi
movie
Himmatwala,
which
has
been
directed
by
Sajid
Khan,
has
concluded
the
first
week
with
an
average
collection
at
the
Indian
Box
Office.
Touted
to
be
the
next
Rs
100
crore
film
of
the
director,
the
Ajay
Devgn
and
Tamanna
starrer
has
failed
to
surpass
Rs
50
crore
mark
in
seven
days.
Although
it
did
not
have
a
competitor,
it
has
failed
to
make
it
big
and
that
is
due
to
negative
feedback.
Himmatwala,
which
released
in
the
beginning
of
Summer
holidays,
was
expected
to
get
a
flying
start
at
the
ticket
windows.
But
the
action
entertainer
registered
below
the
expected
mark
occupancy
on
its
opening
day.
The
makers
were
expecting
its
business
to
go
upwards
on
the
following
days.
However,
its
collection
went
down
on
Saturday
and
Sunday.
Its
business
continued
to
go
downhill
on
weekdays.
The
Ajay
Devgn
and
Tamanna
starrer
was
expected
to
come
closer
to
Rs
100
crore
mark
at
the
domestic
Box
Office
in
seven
days,
but
it
has
just
managed
to
collect
Rs
44.90
crore
nett
in
the
country
in
the
first
week.
Its
breakup
is
Rs
12.1
cr
on
Fri,
Rs
8.5
cr
on
Sat,
Rs
10.5
cr
on
Sun,
Rs
4.5
cr
on
Mon
and
Rs
3.6
cr
on
Tue,
Rs
3
cr
on
Wed
and
Rs
2.75
cr
on
Thu.
However,
new
Hindi
movie
Chashme
Baddoor
starring
Siddharth,
Ali
Zafar
and
Taapsee
in
leads,
has
hit
the
theatres
today.
The
movie
has
got
positive
reviews,
which
have
led
it
to
get
fairly
good
start
at
the
domestic
Box
Office.
Trade
experts
feel
that
it
will
send
down
collection
of
Himmatwala
further
in
the
second
week.
So
the
second
Rs
100
crore
dream
of
Sajid
Khan
is
likely
to
be
shattered!
