Jolly LLB, MDKM, 3G first week collection at Box Office

Mumbai: Hindi movie Jolly LLB starring Bomani Irani and Arshad Warsi in leads, has concluded the first week with a superb collection at the Indian Box Office. But it has failed to beat the record of Boman Irani's last outing Ferrari Ki Sawaari, which had collected Rs 20 crores nett in seven days. Whereas two other new releases - Mere Dad Ki Maruti (MDKM) and 3G have done an average business.

Jolly LLB opened to a poor response, but showed a substantial growth on Saturday and Sunday. It collected Rs 12.51 crores nett at the domestic Box Office in the first weekend. On the weekdays, the film did good business and added Rs 7.19 crores to its seven-day total Rs 19.7 crores nett. Its breakup is Rs 3.12 cr on Fri, Rs 4.23 cr on Sat, Rs 5.16 cr on Sun, Rs 1.90 cr on Mon, Rs 1.83 cr on Tue, Rs 1.76 cr on Wed and Rs 1.70 cr on Thu.

Mere Dad Ki Maruti debuted with a below average occupancy and it witnessed an upward trend in North India on Saturday and Sunday. The movie collected Rs 4.59 crores nett at the domestic Box Office in the first weekend. On weekdays, it added Rs 3.57 crores to its first week total Rs 8.16 crores nett. Its breakup is Rs 1.03 cr on Fri, Rs 1.78 cr on Sat and Rs 2.2 cr on Sun.

Whereas much-hyped movie 3G featuring Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sonal Chauhan in leads, also started on a dull note, but did not show big jump on Saturday and Sunday. The movie collected Rs 3.63 crores nett at the domestic Box Office in the first weekend. On weekdays, it added Rs 2.26 crores to its seven-day total Rs 5.89 crores nett. Its breakup is Rs 1.10 cr on Fri, Rs 1.12 cr on Sat, Rs 1.41 cr on Sun, Rs 64 lakhs on Mon, Rs 58 lakhs on Tue, Rs 54 lakhs on Wed and Rs 50 lakhs on Thu.
