Hrithik
Roshan's
Krrish
3
has
maintained
a
good
pace
at
the
ticket
counters
and
has
done
record-breaking
collection
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
second
week.
Its
business
in
the
second
week
is
much
better
than
the
first
week
collection
of
many
biggies'
movies
of
the
year
2013.
But
the
Rakesh
Roshan-directed
movie
has
just
missed
to
smash
the
all
time
collection
record
of
Shahrukh
Khan's
Chennai
Express.
Considering
its
business
on
first
Thursday,
Krrish
3
dropped
considerably
on
its
second
Friday,
but
it
picked
up
over
the
weekend.
The
film
also
maintained
rock-steady
on
weekdays.
The
film
has
raked
in
Rs
39.74
crores
in
its
second
weekend
and
Rs
19.74
crores
on
weekdays
at
the
Indian
Box
Office.
Its
breakup
is
Rs
9.16
cr
on
Fri,
Rs
14.23
cr
on
Sat,
Rs
16.35
cr
on
Sun,
Rs
5.47
cr
on
Mon,
Rs
5.04
cr
on
Tue,
Rs
4.46
cr
on
Wed
and
Rs
4.77
cr
on
Thu.
In
2013,
not
many
big-budget
movies
have
crossed
Rs
50
crore
mark
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
their
first
week.
Whereas,
Krrish
3
has
done
it
and
it
is
a
record
in
the
Hindi
Cinema.
The
film
has
collected
Rs
59.48
crores
nett
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
second
week.
It
has
beaten
the
record
of
Chennai
Express
(Rs
44.1
crores)
and
Yeh
Jawaani
Hai
Deewani
(Rs
47.1
crores),
which
were
the
first
and
second
highest
grosser
movies
of
2013.
The
14-day
domestic
total
of
Krrish
3
has
reached
Rs
226
crores
nett.
Considering
the
trends
in
its
second
weekend,
trade
experts
had
predicted
that
the
Hrithik
Roshan
starrer
would
smash
the
lifetime
collection
record
of
Chennai
Express,
which
has
been
all
time
highest
grosser
with
its
collection
-
Rs
227.13
crores
nett,
but
it
has
fallen
short
of
Rs
1.13
crore.
It
will
surely
do
it
on
its
third
Friday.
