Two much-hyped movies like Gori Tere Pyaar Mein and Singh Sahab The Great have hit the screens this Friday, but one-week old movie Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram Leela starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in leads, became the first choice for many viewers. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed romance drama has continued to dominate the collection chart and has also crossed Rs 100 crore mark at the Indian Box Office in the second weekend. Vote: Choose Best actor, actress and movie of 2013 As predicted by trade experts, the business of Ram Leela did get affected by Gori Tere Pyaar Mein and Singh Sahab The Great, but not to the extent of trade experts' calculations. On its second Friday, the Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer did a decent collection, which was on par with the performance of new releases. The movie picked up very well at the Indian Box Office over the weekend. It did even better business than the new releases.
Ram Leela has collected Rs 17.90 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in the second weekend and its breakup is Rs 4.65 cr on Fri, Rs 6.25 cr on Sat and Rs 7 cr on Sun. Its 10-day domestic collection stands at Rs 100.10 crores. With this, it has become the seventh Hindi movie to surpass Rs 100 crore mark in the desi market.
