Mumbai:
Hindi
movie
Saheb
Biwi
Aur
Gangster
Returns
(SBAGR)
has
concluded
the
first
week
with
a
decent
collection
at
the
Indian
Box
Office.
The
film
starring
Jimmy
Shergill,
Mahie
Gill,
Irrfan
Khan
and
Soha
Ali
Khan
in
leads,
has
topped
the
domestic
business
chart.
It
has
beaten
the
lifetime
collection
record
of
Saheb
Biwi
Aur
Gangster
in
just
three
days.
A
sequel
to
the
2011
film
Saheb
Biwi
Aur
Gangster
opened
with
a
poor
response,
but
it
picked
up
well
over
the
weekend.
Saheb
Biwi
Aur
Gangster
Returns
did
good
business
in
Mumbai,
Delhi,
UP,
Punjab
and
Eastern
circuits.
It
has
collected
Rs
12.75
crores
nett
at
the
domestic
Box
Office
in
the
first
weekend.
Its
breakup
is
Rs
3.50
cr
on
Fri,
Rs
4.25
cr
on
Sat
and
Rs
5
cr
on
Sun.
The
Tigmanshu
Dhulia-directed
flick
was
expected
to
cross
Rs
20
crore
mark
in
the
first
week,
but
it
has
failed
to
do
so.
It
showed
a
considerable
amount
of
dip
on
the
weekdays
that
was
due
to
the
examination
time
for
all
schools
and
colleges.
Saheb
Biwi
Aur
Gangster
Returns
has
collected
another
Rs
5.5
crores
at
the
desi
Box
Office
in
the
first
week,
taking
its
total
to
Rs
18.25
crores
nett.
However,
three
new
Hindi
movies
like
Mere
Dad
Ki
Maruti,
Jolly
LLB
and
3G
have
hit
the
screens
today.
Trade
experts
feel
that
they
would
certainly
slow
down
the
collection
of
Saheb
Biwi
Aur
Gangster
Returns.
It
should
be
seen
how
the
film
will
perform
in
the
second
week.
