Box Office: Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns 3 days collection

Mumbai: Hindi movie Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns (SBAGR) starring Jimmy Shergill, Mahie Gill, Irrfan Khan and Soha Ali Khan in leads, has done wonderful collection at the Indian Box Office in three days. The film has topped the business chart, beating another new release Saare Jahaan Se Mehnga. It has smashed the first weekend record of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, which had collected Rs 3.75 crores nett.

Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns, a sequel to the 2011 film Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, started on a dull note in the morning shows on its opening day, but it picked up well in the evening and night shows. The movie showed considerable growth in Mumbai, Delhi, UP, Punjab and Eastern circuits on Saturday and Sunday.

The Tigmanshu Dhulia-directed flick has collected Rs 12.75 crores nett at the domestic Box Office in the first weekend. Its breakup is Rs 3.50 cr on Fri, Rs 4.25 cr on Sat and Rs 5 cr on Sun. Many had thought that Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns would not fare well at the Box Office as it is the examination time for all schools and colleges. But it has done a fantastic collection.

However, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns has become the biggest opener in the career of Tigmanshu Dhulia, who has earlier directed critically acclaimed movies like Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster and Paan Singh Tomar. Trade experts think that the movie would cross Rs 20 crores at the domestic Box Office in the first week.
