Table No 21 (7 days) first week collection at Box Office

Hindi movie Table No 21 starring Paresh Rawal, Rajeev Khandelwal and Tena Desae in leads, has concluded the first week with decent collection at the Indian Box Office. The film, which has been made with Rs 10 crores, has raked in Rs 9.61 crores nett at the domestic collection centres in its opening week. With this, the movie has become the first hit of the year 2013.

Table No 21, which released along with two other big movies like Rajdhani Express and Dehraadun Diary, opened to an average response on the first day, but its business improved over the weekend. The Aditya Datt directed flick collected Rs 5.84 crores nett at the domestic Box Office in the first weekend.

The business of Table No 21 dropped by more than 50% on Monday and it continued to decrease on the following days. The Paresh Rawal starrer raked in Rs 3.77 crores nett at desi Box Office on weekdays, taking its first week total collection to Rs 9.61 crores nett. Its breakup is Rs 1.55 cr on Fri, Rs 2.04 cr on Sat, Rs 2.25 cr on Sun, Rs 1.02 cr on Mon, Rs 1.00 cr on Thu, Rs 90 lakhs on Wed and Rs 85 lakhs on Thu.

Table No 21 has beaten Rajdhani Express and Dehraadun Diary, but it is still landing in the second place with Salman Khan's three-week-old release Dabangg 2 topping the collection chart. However, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, Gangoobai and Pyaar Mein Aisa Hota Hai have hit the screens today and trade experts feel that they will slow down the pace of its collection.
