Mumbai: Despite the release of much-hyped movie Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (YPD 2), Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (YJHD) is unstoppable at the Indian Box Office. The romantic entertainer, which has already set several new records, has been still going very strong in the domestic market even 12 days after its release. It is expected to cross Rs 150 crore mark by the end of the second week.
In the second weekend, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani collected Rs 28.75 crores nett at the domestic Box Office, taking its 10 day total to Rs 136.36 crores nett. The Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji's second combo movie topped the business chart, pushing down the new release Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 to the second place. It became second highest grosser in the second weekend after Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots.
Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani continued its rocking run at the Desi Box Office on weekdays too. The movie has done record breaking collection on Monday and Tuesday. Its 11th and 12th day collection is much better than the first and second day business of many big Hindi movies. It has collected Rs 5.5 cr on Mon and Rs 5 cr on Tue.
With this, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has grossed Rs 146.86 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in 12 days. The movie needs Rs 3.14 crore to cross Rs 150 crore mark and it has two days more to achieve this figure in the second week. Trade experts feel that the film would definitely surpass this mark in the second week. Its collection is likely to reach Rs 155 crores in 14 days.
