Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani collection set to cross Rs 250 cr mark

Mumbai: Three and half week old movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is still going super-strong and giving a tough feat to new releases for their money at the worldwide Box Office. The Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's movie has surpassed Rs 180 crore mark and fast heading to score double century in the Indian market. It is also set to cross $10 million mark in the international business centres.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, which released on May 31, has become a nightmare for all the new movies released in the last three weeks in its domestic Box Office as well as other foreign key markets. In its fourth weekend, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer has added Rs 6.10 crores to its 24-day Indian total Rs 183.19 crores nett. Its fourth weekend collection is close on the heals of business of new release Raanjhanaa.

The Ayan Mukerji and Karan Johar's second combo movie had been topping the collection chart in key international markets like USA, UK, UAE and Australia, but it has landed in the second place in the fourth weekend, while new release Raanjhanaa topped the chart. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has collected Rs 9.47 crores (£10,31,999) in UK, Rs 21.72 crores ($36,37,806) in USA, Rs 12.69 crores (AED 78,00,000) in UAE, Rs 3.43 crores (A$6,25,337) in Australia, Rs 79.92 lakhs (NZ$1,72,043) and Rs 8.87 lakhs (FJD 28,895) in the Fiji Box Office in 24 days.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has collected a total of Rs 183.19 crores nett in India and Rs 58.49 crores ($9.8 million) at the international Box Office in 24 days. Its worldwide total stands Rs 241.68 crores nett at the worldwide Box Office. It has become the highest grosser movie of 2013 and third all time blockbuster. Now, it is fast sliding to beat the record of Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger, which is the second all time highest grosser movie in the Indian cinema.
