2 States (24 Days) 4th Weekend Collection At Box Office

Six new Bollywood films Hawaa Hawaai, Koyelaanchal, Manjunath, Yeh Hai Bakrapur, Khwaabb and Mastram, which released this Friday, have failed to halt the rocking run of three-week-old release 2 States, which has once again done good collection at the Indian Box Office in its fourth weekend. Its per-screen average is much better than these new releases. It has become the Blockbuster success of the year 2014.

Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer 2 States, which released in 2000 screens in the domestic market on April 18, has lost out more than 50% of its screen count to 15 new Hindi films, which released in the later weeks. But the movie has managed to maintain rock-steady at the ticket counters across the country. It has successful crossed Rs 100 crore mark at the Indian Box Office in 23 days.

In the domestic market, 2 States had collected Rs 60.77 cr in the first week, Rs 26.54 cr in the second week, Rs 11.64 cr in the third week. On its fourth Friday, the movie witnessed steep decline in its business, but it managed to show growth on the following days. In its fourth weekend, the film has raked in Rs 3.18 crores nett at the Indian Box Office, taking its 24-day domestic total to Rs 102.13 crores nett. Its breakup is Rs 70 lakhs on Fri, Rs 1.06 cr on Sat and Rs 1.42 cr on Sun.
