PK 12 Days Worldwide Collection At Box Office: Reaches 400 Crores

Aamir Khan's PK has managed to break a lot of Box Office records, the film is doing exceptionally well in spite of some religious groups protesting against it.

The film total collection split up over the last 11 days is: Day 1 (Fri): Rs 26.63 crores, Day 2 (Sat): Rs 30.34 crores, Day 3 (Sun): Rs 38.44 crores, Day 4 (Mon): Rs 21.22 crores, Day 5 (Tue): Rs 19.36 crores, Day 6 (Wed): Rs 19.55 crores, Day 7 (Thu): Rs 27.55 crores, Day 8 (Fri): Rs 14.48 crores, Day 9 (Sat): Rs 17.16 crores, Day 10 (Sun): Rs 21.85 crores, Day 11 (Mon): Rs 10.08 crores.

Yesterday, it's second Tuesday collections has been reported to be Rs 10 crores bringing the total Box Office collections for 12 days to be Rs 256.66 crores.

PK had good business overseas as well, the film made over 100 crores with 10 days of it's release. This led the film's worldwide collections to surpass Rs 375 crores. Now at the end of 12 days the film has grossed over Rs 135 crores in the overseas market bringing the film's total collections to reach almost Rs 400 crores.

With this PK has broken a number of Box Office records, it has managed to beat the gross lifetime collections of Chennai Express, 3 Idiots, Happy New Year, Kick, Krrish 3, Bang Bang, Ek Tha Tiger, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Dabangg 2 and Jab Tak Hain Jaan.

While the film is doing so well at the Box office, some religious groups have tried to tarnish the image of the movie and even get it banned. Owing to the issues, the state home department has asked the police to look into the content of PK. The film fraternity has not taken kindly to the government's decision, which they say undermines the authority of the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC), which cleared the movie.

PK (2014) grossed Rs 356.00 crores in India and Rs 64 crores overseas market bringing the total Box office collection to Rs 469 crores and counting.

Chennai Express

Chennai Express (2013) grossed Rs 301.00 crores in India and Rs 63 crores overseas market bringing the total Box office collection to Rs 422 crores.

3 Idiots

3 Idiots (2009) grossed Rs 269.00 crores in India and Rs 126 crores overseas market bringing the total Box office collection to Rs 395 crores.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year (2014) grossed Rs 293.00 crores in India and Rs 90 crores overseas market bringing the total Box office collection to Rs 383 crores.

Kick (2014) grossed Rs 309.89 crores in India and Rs 61 crores overseas market bringing the total Box office collection to Rs 377 crores.
