YRF's latest production Bewakoofiyaan has failed to impress the audience in the international markets. Despite having overseas-friendly theme and YRF brand value, the Ayushmann Khurrana and Sonam Kapoor starrer, which released in foreign countries like the USA, UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand, has failed to top the collection chart at the Overseas Box Office in the first weekend.
Bewakoofiyaan has collected Rs 28.64 lakhs ($46,888) from 51 screens in the USA, Rs 12.74 lakhs (US$20,850) from 15 screens in Canada, Rs 34.12 lakhs (£33,620) from 26 screens in the UK, Rs 12.28 lakhs (A$22,145) from 14 screens in Australia and Rs 6.56 lakhs (NZ$12,558) from 7 screens in New Zealand Box Office in the first weekend.
The Aditya Chopra-produced film has failed to collect even Rs 1 crore from 113 screens in the international markets in three days. Bewakoofiyaan has collected Rs 94.34 lakhs at the overseas Box Office in the first weekend. Its three-day domestic total stand at Rs 7.74 crores nett. The Nupur Asthana-directed movie, which has been made with Rs 22 crores, has collected Rs 8.68 crores nett at the worldwide Box Office in its opening weekend.
